Chris Oyakhilome (known popularly as "Pastor Chris") is a Televangelist and Founding President of Believers' LoveWorld Incorporated aka "Christ Embassy", a Christian organisation headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. He was asked about the secret behind his healing powers and he answered “FAITH”.
What does faith mean? Faith is simply knowing and believing. Is the action applied on the word of God. If this is the meaning of faith, how is our faith in worshipping God?
Did you know that charms and curses from fetish priests work through faith? How then do we have faith in the Lord of Hosts? Faith claims and acts by speaking it due to the power of the tongue. So the moment you speak with the mouth and believe that everything is okay by the grace of God, it boasts your faith and orders it to happen.
Pastor Chris said he worships God through faith. How did he get that faith? Faith is acquired through knowing and believing the word of God. This is then preceded by love hence faith without love is useless. Bible let us understand that when we suffer and endure in our complain hoping, by grace love is being shown which leads to success. Through love, faith is built up in the sight of God. Endurance through suffering, challenges and temptations leads to success. Romans 5: 3, 4.
Most of us worship God as if it is a law enforced on to us by attending church on Sundays. Just fellowshipping is not enough. We should try hard to live in accordance to the word. Jesus Christ is making you understand that is through faith that you can worship God. I therefore urge all you Christians to worship GOD in faith and in truth. This is the true act of worship. Romans 10:17.
